Is it November 5th Yet?

Today I read the following headline on MSNBC...

McCain says Obama will "...say anything to get elected."

Hummm....last time I checked, don't all politicians twist the truth? Say what the public wants to hear? Proclaim that the other party is full of deceit?

Granted, I'm not here to talk politics. I don't need to do that. I already know who I'm voting for. To be honest, I don't care who you vote for either--just as long as you vote. But I can't help but react when I see headlines like this. It just makes no sense!!

But seriously....that's about as good as Michelle Bachman (click here to read the story and here to see the video) saying that Chris Matthews trapped her on Hardball.

I can't wait to cast my vote November 4th and put this political nonsense to bed.

Well, at least until the next big election.

I'm so ready to see the end too! Today I saw that Sarah Palin shopped at Pacifier a baby botique here in Mpls and paid using her RNC card. Now we clothe her children too. Aren't we nice?

YES! Can't wait for this thing to go away so we can go back to talking about something else at cocktail parties. (Wait - I don't go to cocktail parties now that I'm a haggard housewife.) OK, something else to talk about at the grocery store! That's it!

Great post and see you soon...

I'm so sick of hearing all the bull crap. End please end!!! Oh and I totally agree with tracy griffin-artist. Did Sarah Palin really need the wardrobe, I think not, and how about the trips and expensive hotels for her children to stay at for events that they weren't even invited to or apart of. She listed thees expenses for her children as necessary, saying they were for events her children were invited to and then later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

Some organizers of these events have said the children were not invited and they were surprised when Palin showed up with her children.

The charges included costs for hotel and flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

She has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters' flights since she took office in December 2006. In some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

Alaska law allows for payment of expenses for anyone conducting official state business. What official business were her children conducting?

I'm all for woman and mothers following their dreams and pursuing their career choices but not at the expense of others. It's up to her to find a way to balance time with her children and time for her career, not the state and tax payers.

I am ready for the 4th, too! I have never missed voting in an election--even the small ones. I just get so stressed out over all of this mumbo jumbo and mud slinging. I don't know who to believe. You go to CNN and they are slanted one way. Fox is the other way. And both are bashing the opposite candidate. I HATE ELECTION YEARS. Whew. I feel better now. :)
