I love my blog. As I've said time, and time again...."It's good stuff!"

Today I discovered SITS.

SITS = Secret Is (in) The Sauce. This is a blog community that has one goal: To get your blog out there for the world to see and leave comments. After all, you spend your time making your blog cute, funny and fun to read. It doesn't do much good when the only person reading it is you. So, why not increase your blog traffic by getting your blog out there.

There are ways to do it: leave comments with other people, hit the "next blog" link at the top. But this is a new way to get your blog out there, make some bloggy friends, and feel that when you blog about a specific topic it will be read and enjoyed by other folks like you.

Granted, you take a risk by joining a community. You can come across people you just don't agree with. But isn't that what happens in the day to day, anyway? Like Forrest Gump's mama said, "If God wanted us all to be the same, he would have given us watermelons for heads."

This week they are having a bloggy carnival. Since I'm new, I have sort of altered the rules to fit.

Sort of like putting together a puzzle and you discover that the last piece is part of it, but doesn't quite fit, so you do what you can to get. it. in. there.

The rules of the carnival are to say how SITS has changed blogging for you (sorta did that already) and then link to 5 of your favorite SITS blogs.

I don't have 5.

I just have 2 that I know are a part of SITS. So....

My blog to spotlight is....I Kicked Cancer's Ass. I stumbled to SITS through her blog. So it is sort of a 2-for-1 deal. I have a good friend who just won her battle with breast cancer. My friend is now 34. I get goosebumps every time I write her age, because women who are in their early 30's aren't supposed to get cancer. And what is terrible about cancer is because we are in our early 30's we get lumped into the "...you're too young..." category by doctors. Her blog is great. Check it out.

The second blog is Nana's Box, who lead me to Meaghan's blog above! I love how that happens. One blog leads to another and the next thing you know you're 15 pages into the internet! Nana's Box is so special--I can't put into words what her blog is like. Go check it out! You'll have warm fuzzies all day.
