This is my garden. With the nice warm temps and some good rains, my $1 Wal-Mart Garden Center plants are thriving.
Yes. $1 plants from Wal-Mart. I wouldn't have believed it either, but last summer we did the same thing and we had veggies until the first frost.
Speaking of veggies.....
What is this I see?
Our first pepper is popping out. Never mind that the leaves have been attacked by some little bug. But these peppers are the Big Guy's love, so I'll leave the leaf eating bug problem to him.
Oh. What's this? Why....my little guys are starting to make an appearance....

My cherry tomatoes are coming in! We have red and yellow tomatoes this year. So excited that they are doing well!
Have a great weekend....and don't forget to get in over at the Online Silent Auction which benefits the 3-day walk for breast cancer. Auction ends Sunday!
No. Tomatoes and peppers are not on the auction.

I seriously get excited over homegrown tomatoes. It's one of my favorite parts of summer.
That's EXACTLY what I want to do... plant veggies in pots... Is it too late in the year???
Wow, that is so totally impressive. I have an absolute black thumb and kill just about every plant I come in contact with. Stopping by from SITS today, happy Sunday!
Great job! I wish I wasn't so horrible at growing things. I've been trying to grow flowers, but it gets so hot in my apartment they don't stand a chance.
